Thermostat

You'll love the ease of the Nest thermostat. Just rotate the entire dial right or left to adjust to whatever temperature you desire. Did I mention this also controls the bedroom fan? More on that later.
Not sure whether to grab your coat or umbrella? The Nest thermostat displays the current outside temperature as well the forecast for the next 3 days.

I get why you say that, but here's the thing...IT'S NOT! The Haiku ceiling fan not only looks cool, but it adapts to you. Let me explain:
- First of all, the light is motion-activated, so you don't have to worry about turning it on or off. Also, the fan speed automatically adjusts to match the temperature you set on the Nest thermostat. (You can manually override these settings if you want, but why would you want to?!?)
- Use the remote OR the wall switch to increase/decrease the light brightness or fan speed.
- When you're ready to go to sleep, just hit the "Sleep" button on the remote. Lights off!
- Do you miss the ocean? Hit the "Whoosh" button to trigger a mode that mimics cooling natural breezes by varying fan speed.
Pictures/Artwork
One of the first things that will catch your eye when you walk in are the vibrant canvas prints of the Tennessee Brewery building hanging in the living room by acclaimed Memphis artist/photographer David Bunk.
The building, located just 1/2 mile away at the intersection of Butler & Tennessee streets, once housed the Tennessee Brewing Company, a leader in early brewery production in Memphis. The building was erected in 1890 & at one point, more than 1,500 workers worked at the brewery. By 1903, it was the largest brewery in the South. Prohibition shut down operations; however, after prohibition ended, the plant was reopened, but ultimately ceased all operations in 1954.
The building was slated for demolition before Billy Orgel, a local developer & minority owner of the Memphis Grizzlies, purchased the historic building & saved it from the wrecking ball. It is currently under construction & will house apartments as well as office & retail space.
